Jungleland USA was the first amusement park established in SoCal, formerly located where Civic Arts Plaza stands today. It is located 20 minutes north of Piru and offers over 230 camp sites. Lake Casitas Recreation Area encompasses 6,200 acres of nature west of Ojai. There are over 450 campsites here, and fishing, motor-boating and other water activities are available. While trout and catfish are the most common in Lake Casitas, trout and bass are abundant in Lake Piru. Both lakes are located within vast nature areas with an abundance of wildlife.
